The story of Bear Lake Cattle Co. starts earlier than 1910 when the Jensen family started ranching in the Bear Lake Valley in the time of the Homesteading Act.

Five generations later, Don and Micah Jensen continue to ranch here on that same land.

As the economics of ranching changes, they want to share the fruits of their labor in a more direct way with loyal customers who value knowing where their food comes from.

In doing so, the Jensen family hopes to preserve this way of life in the Bear Lake Valley for the next generation as well. As they grow, they are committed working directly with other ranchers in the valley to do the same, and supply their growing customer base with the highest quality Bear Lake Beef.
